This blog presents general opinion pieces on humanitarian work, mostly based on field experience, conversations with refugees and colleagues and readings. The views expressed on this page are my own, and not necessarily attributable to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
I’m a humanitarian worker, formerly serving as head of the UNHCR’s Sub-Office in the Bekaa valley of Lebanon. Previous to Lebanon, I have served in the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Afghanistan and Colombia, among other duty stations.
